Bio
Sara and Austin are a versatile jazz duo based in the DC area, featuring Sara Zhu on vocals/flute and Austin Stahle on guitar. Both graduating from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies, Sara and Austin specialize in a variety of genres ranging from jazz, R&B, folk, and rock. Formed amidst the global pandemic, they hoped to create music together when live music seemed to be a thing of the past. They have performed together in venues including Forte Jazz Lounge, Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, Succotash Prime, Et Voila, Lena’s Loft, and many more.
